Communication Integration (CI) is a technology and education-focused non-profit.
Since 2001, IT professional Samuel Perales dreamed of world where equality and opportunity went hand-in-hand. His passion for technology and development led him to Ciudad Dario, Nicaragua. There, along with a team of volunteers, Sam worked to build a Learning Resource Center (computer lab) for Seeds of Learning, a nonprofit that serves the people of Nicaragua through increased access to education. That experience sparked a 20 year career of service and giving to underserved and overlooked communities around the world.
Today, we are committed to Helping students and teachers in haiti access the internet
In the next six months, we plan to build a 30-seat computer lab for students and teachers at Delmas 83. We will set-up internet access points around campus, and partner with administrators and teachers and on curriculum design.
We are dedicated to helping people access technology and education services. All of our projects are created in partnership with leaders and activists in the local communities we serve. Through our work with these communities, we hope to see real social progress, economic development and to improve the quality of life for children, youth, and adults.
Empowerment: Our passion is to serve others by promoting local ownership of our projects, We empower leaders on the ground to take leadership roles on projects, providing them with the skills necessary to maintain the projects once they are completed, and inspiring them to launch projects of their own.
Transparency: While technology and development projects can be complex and ever-evolving, tracing your donation doesn't have to be. We are honest and clear about where the money is going. All donors can access project updates and reports. Measurement and evaluation is a core component of each project.
Integrity: We act with integrity in all we do. We follow local laws and regulations, and we are mindful of the culture and traditions where we work.
